“Cigarettes are nonexistent, but kids aren’t getting caught like they used to because there’s no smoke smell. Now, bathrooms just reek of mango, papaya, and piña colada—that’s the only evidence.” High School Teacher, Pennsylvania
“I definitely see some middle schoolers that are actually addicted to nicotine now, to the point where they're trying to sneak it in (school) and they get caught. They get this sort of desperation about them, because they know they're going to be struggling.” Middle School-Based Psychologist, Minnesota
“Despite progress in recent years, these firsthand stories from educators make clear that e-cigarettes remain a serious and persistent problem in schools.

No Vape Possible was founded by three middle school students united by a passion for science and a desire to help others. Originally created as a project for the eCYBERMISSION STEM competition, the team chose to tackle vaping awareness due to a rise in vaping-related lung injuries between 2019 and 2020.
They conducted research, consulted experts, and created a two-part survey and educational presentation to measure and influence students' knowledge and choices around vaping. The results showed a positive impact.
To expand their reach, the team launched a website with educational resources about the dangers of vaping. They also presented their findings to local mayors and at public events.
Their efforts led to winning the state championship and a $5,000 national grant. Today, the project continues as a peer-led campaign focused on vaping prevention through education and awareness.
